Marc Meadors ran a career best 6.216 @ 228.23mph to take the #7 qualifying spot at this weekend’s PSCA Street Car Supernationals at the Strip in Las Vegas. Competing at the event for the second consecutive year in the Goodguys Racing ’69 Camaro, Meadors and the team had been inching up the qualifying list in the Hughes Performance Pro Street class throughout the weekend, culminating with last night’s impressive blast in the event’s final qualifying session.

Having the good fortune to out-qualify legend Pat Musi and the well known Jeg’s team led by Troy Coughlin among many other notables has given the Goodguys Racing team a strong boost of confidence heading into final eliminations which commence today. Today’s final eliminations will feature the quickest 32 street cars in the world going for top honors through five grueling rounds of competition.
